Since 1984, Downes Wholesale Nursery has grown to become one of Australia’s largest wholesale plant suppliers to the Landscaping and Development Industry.
We are a family-owned and operated nursery with locations in Theresa Park, Sydney and Tuckombil, Northern New South Wales. Our Nursery provides both specialist growing and pre-grow orders for our customers’ landscaping and development projects.
With over 1 million plants, ranging from tube stock to 400-litre pots, we are ready to make your world a greener place.

Our head office is located at Theresa Park in Sydney West, the 145-acre property can hold over 1 Million plants from Tubestock to 400lt enough to cover all your projects of any size.
Featuring an impressive propagation facility, 4 Acre shade house and tree racks with thousands of 75lt and larger plants.
Northern Rivers
Our beautiful Northern Rivers nursery is located at Tuckombil near Byron Bay, it grows a lot of our tropical plants and supplies the local area as well as a semi-trailer of plants to Theresa Park every week.
